ABOUT SARAH MILLS

A Brief History

July 2017

Next up is a mini group show with the same group of artists from WAOH17 and more new work at Colonnade House in central Worthing 8-19th August 2017.

Current work includes slipcast and carved porcelain form the new workshop in Angmering. Most recently I am using oxides and stained slip to add a dimension of colour.  Designs are carved as I develop my lifelong obsession with pushing things to the edge, in this case, of performance in Porcelain, design and relavance in applied Arts.

Ceramic Artistry production has moved from  the former Worthing Art Studios, and had a successful and popular opening in West Worthing for the Worthing Artists Open Houses (WAOH) July/June.

I continue to use porcelain, stoneware, watercolour and am developing carved surface and hand built forms. Now slip casting, hand building and carving surfaces and lately, making use of a tile saw.
